Join the US Chamber of Connection and Pledge 1% for an evening of collective impact and community connection at Stoup Brewing.
Â
Agenda:
State of Connection: A quick look at the data behind social isolation and the growing case for connectionÂ
Service Project:Â Roll up your sleeves and write letters welcoming new Seattle residents to the community
Networking & Happy Hour: Complimentary beer, yummy NA drinks, and food provided from one of Seattle's favorite local breweries.
Bring your colleagues, friends, and fellow leaders who want to give back and connect with others who believe business can be a force for good.
Social connection is the foundation of our humanity, shaping how we develop empathy, trust, health, resilience, and opportunity—both as individuals and as a society. Yet more than half of people lack reliable access to it, as changing economic and social conditions weaken the relationships and environments that social connection depends on.
This is not just a personal issue. It is a societal one.
About the US Chamber of Connection
The US Chamber of Connection is the national nonprofit building the civic infrastructure needed to restore connection and trust in America. We were co-founded in Seattle by Aaron Hurst, creator of the Taproot Foundation and board.dev, and grandson of the architect of the Peace Corps.
Pledge 1% is leading a global movement to embed social impact into the DNA of all businesses.Â
We are on a mission to inspire, educate, and empower every company to leverage their unique assets to be a force for good.
As a global organization, we provide companies who take the pledge with playbooks and tools that empower them to propel their pledges to action. Pledge 1% offers members a dynamic community platform, networking events, access to expert speakers, and visibility opportunities to share their impact.
